Assisted Living Regulations

Assisted Living regulations are setup and controlled differently in each of the 50 states and Washington D.C. Assisted Living Regulations control things such as: background check requirements, emergency preparedness, fire safety, food safety, dietary standards, staff training, medication management, and infection control in facilities, expansion procedures, move in/out procedures, and assessments.

Some States are modifying and amending their regulations annually and there is also an effort to get federal regulation passed.
